Glen A. Blanscet Executive Pastor

Glen Blanscet grew up in Pampa, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from West Texas State University in 1979 and his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1982. After graduating from law school, Glen worked for a law firm in Dallas, Texas for three years before joining the legal staff of Atmos Energy Corporation, where he was the Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary until 1999. In 1999, Glen left his position at Atmos to follow the call to the ministry, and he received his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2002. He joined the staff of First Baptist in June 2002 as its Executive Pastor.

Glen and his wife, Becky, were married in 1979. They have two children, Jenna and Mark.
